Christina Blomkvist is a concert organist, mainly active from 1995 to 2010. In addition to written repertoire, she often performed improvisations on given themes at her concerts.

She studied organ at Malmö Music Academy and in the soloist class in Copenhagen, which she completed with her debut recital in Helligaandskirken in Copenhagen in 2003. She also studied for a few months at the Paris Conservatory of Music in the autumn of 1997.

She has had concerts in Westminster Abbey (London), Wells Cathedral, Newcastle Cathedral, St John's College (Cambridge), Copenhagen Cathedral, Lund Cathedral, Erfurt Cathedral and others. She won third prize at the international organ competition in Odense in 2000.

Since 2023, she has released about ten albums on various music services with newly recorded improvisations (organ, piano and harpsichord), most recently a double album from Linköping Cathedral in the spring of 2026. She has also created and runs the music platform organist.one.
