Kristina Aspeqvist (born 1965) is a percussionist and composer. She has conducted a number of ensembles and currently conducts the Stockholm Vodou Orchestra, which performs her music. Kristina has frequently collaborated on dance and theater productions. She teaches at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the Örebro Conservatory.
For many years, she lived and studied in West Africa. She is interested in all genres but is most at home in folk/jazz/world music. She also runs a drum store and arranges travel to Ghana in her spare time.
